One Story White Houses with Mediterranean Style, with Pool and Spectacular Exterior Views
A 1-story white house with a mediterranean design. The house is located in the Cyclades Islands, Greece , specifically on the Island of Siros.
The house was built on high ground, allowing spectacular views towards the sea. The design of a terrace with an infinity pool and a solarium create the ideal space for relaxing outdoors.
The project is the work of the architects of STUDIO BLOCK 722 . They have created this beautiful Mediterranean-style one-story white house for outdoor living. Two volumes finished in white cement and quarry stone, are combined creating interesting shaded outdoor spaces.
Interior Design of a One Story White Houses with Mediterranean Style
As is characteristic of Mediterranean architecture, the presence of natural materials is notable. At the entrance, a two-leaf solid wood door has been placed, and then, as a visual finish, a window that frames the exterior view of the sea.
On the terrace, the furniture invites meditation, with shaded hammocks, oversized beds and handmade rope seats.
Lounge
In the interior design, the blue tones of the sea and the colors of the earth are combined in furniture, flooring and kitchen countertops.
The interior designer, Katja Margaritoglou , uses the traditional codes of Mediterranean homes, alternating lamps and accessories, with metallic accents in bronze and silver, distributed throughout the interior space.
The furniture is made to measure, in wood, stone and earth tones, for a “neorustic” effect.
Kitchen
The kitchen is open to the living room, with an island and a wooden cabinet built into the wall: furniture with oak wood, stone countertop. A skylight on the deck expands the space, improving its luminosity and comfort.
Dining Room
The dining room is located outdoors, in the shade of the rustic wooden pergolas. The wooden furniture has been made by local artisans, as are the hanging lamps covered with natural threads.
Main Room
A navy blue corner within the living room, where metallic accents prevail.
Mediterranean atmosphere, with white and gray surfaces in one of the two rooms, light fabrics, the mirror on the floor, and a lamp made of rope.
Bathroom
